Excellent! We stay in room 52. Beautifully decorated, stylish, class, robes, four windows from wich you could enjoy neuschwanstein from one side, and Hohenschwangau on the other. Great bathroom, window with view to Hohenschwangau. Room's furniture very elegant and wit taste, at least according to mine.We would not wanted to leave the room. Location in excellent scenery. Absolutely recommende

Excellent! The hotel was perfect. Location, view, service, the room itself and the price. Room had a spectacular view of the Hohenshwangau Castle just across from our window. It was elegant with a classy canopy bed and furniture. Matching floral patterns on the wall and curtains. Comforters and large fluffy pillows on the bed made it that much more comfortable. Had bathrobes and chocolates on the bed for that extra touch. The bathroom was exquisit. As you step in, it is spacious and all tiled in a white marble. Seperate bathtub and shower with all fixtures in a golden swan theme. Large bathtub (easily two people) with jacuzzi jets. Following morning we awoke to a snow covered wonderland. That made it all the more beautiful.

It was so quiet and nice, the bed was the best I have ever slept in and the location wonderful - could not be better.
I did not like the facilities for food, the restaurant was very very good quality expensive food, my husband and I would have preferred "bistro" type food it was over our budget and we had to eat at a different hotel.

Great location, great rooms, excellent views. Dining room had a very good menu and food was excellent. Our waiter, Guiseppe, was very professional and had a great sense of humour!
Reception staff was quite abrupt.

Location.
The site do not specify that there is no elevator and no bell captain in the hotel. I stayed in the second floor and had to carry my luggage upstairs.

It was honestly quite lovely. From every window there was a view of a castle. Food was good, but really worth the effor to go into Fussen for dinner. Both money wise and quality. Even the Housekeeping people are wonderful! I really am glad we stayed here.
The reception staff appear annoyed by tourists. It gives the appearance that we are in their way. Maybe more so toward the Americans.

Excellent location just near famous king castles Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. At the hotel - the atmosphere of home and also of luxury at the same time.
Advise: take the "superior" room. So you will enjoy your stay there fully.

It is beautiful, the room was a suite with a warm and wonderful decoration. The view to both castles was fabulous. The location was perfect (3 minutes to the mountains, lakes, castles and in the village!). The restaurant is very good and cheap, the staff is really nice. The hotel is quiet. The ratio quality/price is very good.

Very spatious and well-appointed room with wonderful view of Hoehenschwangau Castle. Very comfortable, with swan bathroom fittings! Good breakfast with choice of fresh-cooked egg dishes.

Old world elegance with a modern spacious bathroom, great views out our window at a castle, and a perfect location. Typical German staff; helpful, polite, and sincerely wanting you to enjoy your stay at their hotel. A big benefit is the free guest parking, and a free pass the the museum of Bavarian kings a few steps from the hotel, overlooking the lake. In the evening the area is quiet after the parking lots close. The same is true in the morning. After a pleasant breakfast, we were able to stroll to the castle ticket booth and then go back to the hotel to catch the bus up to the new castle before the place was over-run with visitors. It leaves from in front of the hotel. Most visitors drive in from a near-by hotel, pay to park in one of 5 or 6 parking lots (not close) and have a long walk to the ticket booth.

Beautiful room right in the middle of the action to see the King Ludwig ii castles, Neuschwanstein and Hohenscwanstein. We had a wonderful view of both of them.
The staff at the reception were not very friendly and this was the only hotel on our 3-week holiday that charged for breakfast. It would have been nice to at least have a cup of coffee in the room.

The charming atmosphere and luxurious and comfortable room, and the location very close to the royal castles.
The dining room at Hotel Lisl closed too early in the evening, at 7:00 PM.
